Action "School Bags" 2006

 

On the occasion of the new school year 2006/2007 and within the framework of the National Initiative for the Human Development (INDH), the Foundation of the Marrakech International Film Festival under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid made a gift of 700 school bags in Wilaya of Marrakech. These school bags contain in addition to the textbooks, the books, the supplies and the blouses in different colors (White or pink for the girls, blue for the boys).

This action was co-financed by a partner to which the Foundation of the Marrakech International Film Festival allotted, on the other hand, a visibility in the festival guide of the FIFM 2006.

The operation of filling of the school bags took place in the offices of the Foundation in Marrakech.

Monday September 11, 2006, the parcels with school bags were delivered to the service of the INDH of Wilaya of Marrakech.

Monday September 18, the Foundation was represented on launching the of the new school year ceremony, honoured by the presence with Mr. Mounir Chraïbi, Mayor of Marrakech.

At the time of this inaugural ceremony, Mayor of Marrakech proceeded to the distribution of the school bags, gift of the Foundation, to the schoolchildren resulting from underprivileged families. The children of the douars Ouelad Benaguid and Kettara of Haouz de Marrakech benefitted of this gift.

The representatives of the Foundation of the Marrakech International Film Festival were cordially happiness by Mister Wali and the local authorities for this beautiful initiative.
